Django NYC is getting back into the swing of things post-Pycon with an awesome march meeting. Bob Hancock, co-organizer of the NYC Google Technology Users Group, will be giving an introduction to using Django on Google's App Engine platform. Then Alex Gaynor, author of Django 1.2's multidb support, will be giving an in-depth talk on advanced uses of the Django ORM. In between we will have time for two or three lighting talks. If you would like to give a lighting talk please send your talk to Justin or Sean in advance or have your talk ready on a USB drive at the meeting. After the meeting we'll be going out to reBar for drinks and discussion.
As usual we will attempt to stream the meeting and have a record available for download after the meeting for those who can't attend.
Be aware that there's a (hopefully) final shift in location for the meeting. We will still be at HUGE but they have asked that people come to the entrance on the second floor of 45 Main from now on.
Thanks to HUGE for generously hosting this meeting.

“ I had a real sense that both presenters knew their subjects extremely well. I'd love to see Alex Gaynor do something like the ORM tutorial that was given March 1, but covering the more advanced topics he went over in his presentation. I feel like I could be getting much more out of the ORM.
Also, the photos accompanying his slides were the best. ”

The building was locked; I'd love to have actually attended.
