Django Intro Tutorial

Six Apart (map)

Selected By: Sean O'Connor

Join us for our first Django tutorial event. If you've been meaning to start learning Django, this is a great opportunity. The format of the event will be fairly simple. Everybody who is looking to learn will be asked to attempt to install Django and complete the official tutorial on their own. As everybody works on the tutorial, there will be a number of experienced Django developers available to provide guidance and to answer questions. At the end of the night we'll have a general Q&A and some tips on where to go from there. Additionally we'll be seeking feedback on the format of the event as well as topics for future tutorials.

Be aware that we will only be providing power and internet access. You will need to bring your own laptop to work on to participate in the tutorial.

Thanks to Six Apart for generously hosting this Django-NYC event.
