This month at Django NYC, James Denis will be giving a talk on developing a web app targeted for the iPhone with Django. We will also be having a talk from Justin Lilly on tools you should know and use. Finally we will be having a special guest, Steve Holden, Chairman of the PSF.
As always we'll be going to reBar for conversation, beer, and food after the meeting.

Steve HoldenJames' presentation on iPhone apps the Django way was to the point, and loaded with practical experience designed to help the would-be developer provide an interface that users think is a native iPhone app. Justin's distillation of practical tools was something that no Django programmer should remain unaware of too long. My announcement of DjangoCon 2010 in Portland, OR from Sep 7-9 also appeared to be well-received.
