9 months or so.

Yes. I have been earning money with Django for about 6 months now.

Have you released or contributed to any open source projects releated to Django?

Yes. Some of my projects are open source. The most noteworthy one is a research project for Johns Hopkins involving language translations using Pinax but it's not ready for the public yet.

  • Hi James - good to quickly meet you this morning - I'm sure I'll get to chat more with you at future DUMBO meetups.
    I just moved to NY from SF. I'm freelancing as a front-end web developer, interviewing for jobs, and generally interested in startups. My top question right now as a NYC newbie is to learn the ropes for the NYC local scene. My current strategies: Hacker News, meetup.com, and I just learned about nextny.org. Any other tips to start me off? Thanks!
