Huge credit to Apress for hosting this event. I realize that they do have something to gain from this, but the truth is that most iPhone developers have already bought their books and the fact they're giving a few away and hosting meetup groups shows how willing they are to reach out to the community. They also seem like a terrific team who understands the hacker / developer community really well. A huge thanks to Apress for hosting this meetup, and I hope they'll keep doing so, because their conference room is more than adequate for the occasion.

Great venue: clean, quiet, high tech, free refreshments. The book plugs at the start were short and related to the meetup. I think I might checkout the marketing book actually. Hosts were very nice the whole time and didn't even mind that a friend and I showed up rather early.

The space is good, but the room was too crowded. Lower the capacity and this would be a perfect spot. The catering was quite good too.
